Building Bridges Between Industry and Education – UPE Students Visit Mega Plásticos

On August 2025, Mega Plásticos S.A. welcomed a group of students from the Universidad Privada del Este (UPE) – Ciudad del Este Campus – for a technical visit to our production facilities in Minga Guazú.

The initiative aimed to strengthen the link between academia and the industrial sector, giving future professionals a firsthand look at the processes, technologies, and innovation strategies that define Mega Plásticos as a leading company in Paraguay’s manufacturing industry.

During the tour, the students had the opportunity to learn about:

• The transformation process of nonwoven textiles and industrial packaging.

• The company’s sustainability and quality control practices.

• The importance of innovation and continuous improvement in large-scale production.

The visit was guided by members of our Quality and Production Departments, who shared insights on how Mega Plásticos combines advanced technology with human expertise to create durable, efficient, and environmentally responsible solutions.

This collaboration reinforces our ongoing commitment to education, knowledge transfer, and community development. By opening our doors to future professionals, we help inspire the next generation of industrial leaders in Paraguay.
